I've always wanted to tell stories and exploring worlds through character animation. That's why I decided to take some free time to create this short animation. I plan to make more short stories in the future. I hope you enjoy this one.

It's a belief by the "Yorubas" that the dead have a continued existence in our world. They never let go.

Behind the Scenes
After I figured out the Idea, I first gathered some reference images of ``Egun`` that I can find online, and made the cloth design in Marvelous Designer
The first design was a daylight scene, but It felt a bit boring, I decided to make it a night scene which I feel it was better. I animated the character in C4D and exported back to Marvelous designer to simulate the colth. From the whole process, the hardest part was making the cloth in Marvelous designer. That took a while
Behind the Scenes
Majority of the beauty light was done in octane render, but I did some minor comping in After effects just to give the scenes more depth. I feel I could have spent more time at the comping stage, but overall, I just have to let the project go , lol
